Submit Abstract

Please ensure that your submission meets the conference requirements. 

Submission eligibility and presentation formats 

Submissions may present theoretical, methodological, or empirical contributions up to 400 words. For empirical studies, we strongly encourage authors to submit work for which data collection has been completed and results are available. Authors are also encouraged to provide details about their sample, including sample characteristics and sample size.

Each participant may submit and deliver only one first-author presentation.

Presentation Formats

For ICEP 2027, we invite submissions in four presentation formats:

Symposium
A symposium lasts 90 minutes and consists of either four presentations followed by a discussion led by a discussant, or five related presentations, each lasting 15 minutes + questions. Each presentation must be submitted with its own abstract.

Oral Presentation
An individual presentation of completed empirical research lasting approximately 15 minutes + questions.

Blitz Presentation
A new presentation format for a single completed study. Blitz presentations last approximately 5 minutes and highlight key findings in a concise and engaging way.

Poster Presentation
A traditional poster presenting completed empirical research.

What to include in your submission?:

To help our scientific committee fully appreciate your work, please ensure your submission including empirical results (within the word limit of 400 words) includes:

Research aims: The main goals, research questions, or hypotheses of your study (also please note if your hypotheses were pre-registered).

Sample and recruitment: Details about the participant sample size and how they were recruited.

Methodology and design: A clear description of your research design (e.g., experimental, correlational, qualitative) and the number of studies conducted (if more than one)

Main findings: The key results and conclusions of your research.

A friendly note from our Local Organizing Committee: We want to give every proposal the best possible chance. Having these details allows our reviewers to thoroughly and fairly evaluate your work. Please keep in mind that if this key information is missing, we may be unable to move your submission forward in the review process.

Each registered author can present a maximum of one abstract. There is no limit on how many times a person is listed as a co-author on submitted abstracts.
